Project Description: For this project you will be using Glogster to respond to an essay prompt:
Assess the validity of this statement as it relates to the 1920s and the 21st Century:
"Bruce Catton suggests that the 1920s is a decade that is unique onto itself; that there was never a decade like it before and that there will never be another decade like it again in American history. I take issue with his statement and posit that the first decade of the 21st century is comparable to the 1920s in several ways."
Using www.glogster.com, create a glog that will explain the above stated thesis statement. You must first develop a thesis statement, and then find documents and examples to support your thesis. Next, arrange these on your glog. Lastly, you will post a link to your final result on the Student Gallery page. See the rubricfor more details! Also, check out the Project Requirements page for more information.
Click here for Dr. Fetzer's working example. Do not steal my ideas, please and thank you! Please note that this example is not complete. Your completed glog should have more information for each of your main points. This is simply to illustrate how to approach the assignment!
Would you like to add MUSIC to your glog? Visit**//www.kohit.net//**to find free MP3s. Once you find one, save it and upload it using the "sounds" option in Glogster.
How to cite your sources using Glogster:
1. Use www.easybib.com to create your bibliography.
->Did you know that you can now use "autocite" with just a URL?
2. After you have added your last source, and you have clicked "create citation" you will see a list of your sources. At the bottom of that list will be an option that says "view your public biliography and share". Selecting that will bring you to a pop-up window with a URL.
